We’ve created a great product in the recreational sports indusry and are looking for a talented, entrepreneurial architect/developer/engineer located in New York City dive into our code base, take ownership of the architecture and assume the CTO role.

• Integrations into sites with web services APIs like Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Google, etc.,
• Git, Airbrake, New Relic

Other helpful skills/experience

• Mass Mailing tools, Text messaging, Git, HTML, CSS, Sass, Social networking, CMS development, mobile app development
• E-Commerce experience
• Form/Survey Builders
• Experience developing/enhancing CMS systems
• Scheduling software experience
• PayPal Adaptive Payments API
• Stripe or other payment processor integration
• Any experience working with or developing e-commerce systems will be extremely helpful
• Upgrading from Rails 2.3 to 3
• Mobile app development

RUBY ON RAILS DEVELOPERS (NEW YORK, NY)

We're looking for a rails developer with strong front-end development skills who is a  fast-learner.  You don't have to be great at design - we have other people who will take care of that - but we'll need you to develop the rich interactions using JQuery, AJAX, etc. Your initial focus will be on front-end features that enhance the usability and flexibility of our site.  As you become familiar with the code base you will be responsible for architecting and developing  new application modules.

Key skills and knowledge that you will need to know/learn/utilize

• Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS, Sass, JavaScript
• Any experience working with or developing e-commerce systems will be extremely helpful
• Experience developing social networking sites
